Fondant Frontier

In this 6000-square-foot home, I had the pleasure of curating every detail, from the interior selections that bring character to each room to the exterior touches that complete its grand presence. This client’s design request was to merge the aesthetic of the rugged spirit of the Albertan cowboy with the refined allure of Victorian design and the organic warmth of rustic textures.

Each selection reflects a careful balance: richly detailed moldings and vintage-inspired fixtures & tile echo the Victorian influence, while earthy stone provide the grounding rustic elements. Western accents—like iron hardware, hickory cabinets add a soulful connection to the home.

The exterior, we transformed a Southwest-style plan to incorporate my client’s love for copper tones and castle stone, creating a harmonious blend with the surrounding landscape. This is a home that tells a story with each element, celebrating a fusion of styles that’s both unique and timeless.
