Roasted Calcutta Gold
Project Overview
“Jaimie was fabulous to work with. She listened to our ideas and gave us many more in return. She took our home to the next level. Jaimie was a true team player with our project manager and cabinet maker and we are extremely happy with our home. We highly recommend Jaimie to anyone.”
After travelling for many years my clients wanted to move back to Edmonton to be closer to their children and grandchildren. After purchasing a bungalow in their favourite neighbourhood of Edmonton, their wish was to create a home that appealed to their style and also a warm and inviting place they can entertain their friends and family in. Finishes had to be practical and easy to clean as they have grandchildren and pets. The original Kitchen lacked style and function for a chef. No storage for small appliances or drawers for pots and pans. The appliances especially wouldn’t do for the baking and cooking that was needed. Another issue was lack of storage for all their worldly trinkets to be displayed and a coffee and bar area was needed for proper entertaining.
Savori Spaces was called in to design their main floor into a haven and help tie in their love for exotic accents. They also wouldn’t be travelling to Edmonton from the east coast in the peak of Covid until late summer of 2021 and would not meet the timeline of the start date of the renovation. Virually meeting with Jaimie trust was established immediately and new they were in good hands. Once the clients were able to fly back everything was in motion and their renovation was almost completed.
All the finishes were selected remotely including cabinets, countertops, lighting, flooring and fireplace stone . In addition new living room furniture and window coverings completed the vision.
