This hand built cabin in lac St. Anne Alberta was lost in the past inside and out. The new owners wanted to update the cabin’s exterior with a new woodworkers shop and back deck extension, modernize the kitchen, bathroom and flooring. The original finishes in the interior were very drab with the dark log walls, osb checkerboard flooring. The original kitchen lacked function and storage options and the goal was to combine modern farmhouse design elements with the dark log walls that still complimented the rustic aspects. The ingredients for the exterior where specified to blend in with the natural surroundings. .
Ingredients: “ Urban Nature” & “Dove Wing” Lacquered Custom Cabinets with Alder Wood Island and Cabinet Hood Fan cover. Custom Concrete Countertops, luxury vinyl plank flooring, deco subway backsplash and golden bronze fixtures and hardware.
